description
An electric guitar, just like a soprano or a violin - not to mention percussion instruments - emit large amounts of energy at higher frequencies. That may be an advantage in the concert hall. Singers train their voices so that even the audience in the last row can hear something. In small rooms, however, the musicians would adapt their sound to the room acoustics, because here the sounds pierce, for example, much faster in the ear. The piercing of the (high) tones in the ear is largely determined by level peaks as a result of interference and is unwanted. The Model M will avoid stinging your recordings in the ear, or you'll need to adjust the volume as you go up in higher registers. As a result, you will also be able to hear much louder music without getting uncomfortable.
