Where this acoustic element is installed, the sound of the listening room is masked, so that the spatial sound of the recording comes to the fore.
The bass absorbers draw energy from the standing waves and shorten the reverberation time in the bass range, so that the drone also decreases. The level in the bass becomes more even and less localized.
This succeeds because the resonators remove sound energy, but also emit bass waves with rotated phase. The fact that the bass increases in quality, however, takes a back seat, because the Model L is best described as "what really happens". The finest nuances are brought to light, and with the Model L in the middle of the frequency range providing the highest information content, your listening room will re-create your favorite recordings in an extremely realistic manner. When you hear a cello, you hear strings over a corpus "and more" - Model L is this "and more."
